Christmas arrived with gifts, but it vanished almost as quickly! But other folks can’t seem to get over the same things, so it seems like some of them were exceptionally special. You could wonder, who is it? It’s none other than Henderson, Brooke. The LPGA Tour pro had appeared in a TaylorMade commercial back in December alongside celebrities like Tiger Woods, Charley Hull, and Nelly Korda.
The present? During the commercial’s filming, the professional got to spend some time with her idol, Woods. Interestingly, she also reminisced about the same situation in an interview prior to the forthcoming LPGA competition, calling it nothing less than “cool!”
Tiger Woods and Brooke Henderson’s “TaylorMade” meeting
throughout a press conference held on Tuesday in advance of the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, the 26-year-old described how the athletes “were all there together” throughout the shoot. She also talked about how lucky she was to be able to sit next to the 15X major champion “at the breakfast,” calling it “pretty cool.” For the defending champion, it was a true fan-girl moment.
The 13-time LPGA Tour winner didn’t neglect to include the other professionals in his recollection. Henderson remarked, “To be in the company of all those talented players,” adding that she was also “very inspired and motivated” during the same.
The golf corporation posted a picture of itself on Instagram during the Christmas season, including Hull, Korda, and other professional players from the women’s and PGA Tours decked up as elves. Meanwhile, Woods was in charge of the entire elves’ gift-making process while clad in his viral Christmas persona, the “Mac Daddy Santa.”
Henderson had the chance to spend some time with the 48-year-old thanks to the TaylorMade promo. She was by no means the only member of the group who was a die-hard follower of the 82X PGA Tour winner, though. Let’s introduce Nelly Korda!
The 1X major champion was completely enthralled with the legend’s appearance on the course during the 2021 PNC Championship. She expressed her joy at meeting her idol and the game’s hero, calling it a “dream come true,” and she begged to take a picture with the golfer.
Following the photo shoot, she asked if her brother, Sebastian Korda, may also snap a picture with him, and Woods consented. Thus, the winner of the 2021 Women’s PGA Championship, along with her father, Petr Korda, were allowed to play against the 15-time major champion and also take home a memento.
