Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s daughter has been in troubled waters lately. Last year, the young woman pleaded guilty to assault. Even though the case has been dismissed, spectators are observing Yaya’s signs of personal growth and openly expressing their support for her progress.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s daughter is the essence of sibling love

Yaya posted a special message for Halloween on her Instagram, titled “my heart my everything.” In a world that is so rife with hate and love, family does unite. After a traumatizing 3 years of court proceedings and arrest, it is obvious that Yaya has the support of her family. Yaya’s gesture serves as a poignant reminder of the genuine emotions that connect us all. The sincerity in her words transcends the boundaries of celebrity status, reminding everyone of the universal value of love and kinship.

This touching dedication from Yaya captured the essence of sibling love. Familial bonds are important, especially after the assault arrests that happened in Yaya’s life just last year.

Yaya’s trouble with the law

In April 2020, Iyanna Mayweather allegedly attacked Lapattra Jacobs, another woman, at rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again‘s home. Law enforcement arrested Mayweather. The altercation occurred in the kitchen after Jacobs claimed she was NBA’s fiance. Mayweather escalated the situation by attacking Jacobs with two kitchen knives.

Initially, Mayweather faced a potential 99-year sentence, and authorities ordered her to maintain distance from Jacobs. After the assault, authorities released her on a $30,000 bond. However, in April 2022, Mayweather pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The case was dismissed after deferred judgment, and she is currently serving a 6-year probation term.

In January 2021, in the middle of her proceedings, Yaya announced the arrival of her son, Kentrell, with NBA YoungBoy. Yaya, then 20 years old, shared the delightful news on her Instagram story. Her son, now 2, is the apple of the Patriarch’s eye. He keeps appearing on and off on ‘Money’s Instagram page.
