Liv Morgan could be out of WWE for a while after the vicious attack by Rhea Ripley this past Monday Night on RAW.

Liv was supposed to be in a singles matchup with The Judgment Day member after she hurt Raquel Rodriguez last week on RAW. However, Ripley attacked her before the match and brutalized her at ringside, leaving the former SmackDown Women’s Champion groaning in pain

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter pointed out how this week’s RAW showed two injury angles, Liv Morgan and Kevin Owens. He reported that Morgan’s injury was more serious as Ripley attacked her before their scheduled matchup and “Pillmanized” her shoulder.

Later, Liv was shown backstage grabbing her shoulder and crying in pain. The veteran journalist mentioned that the duration of her absence is uncertain, but WWE carried out the angle to keep her off TV in case she needs surgery. He pointed out that this was the possible reason Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez dropped the Women’s tag titles to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.

Liv Morgan had just returned from a shoulder injury

The injury comes at an unfortunate time, as Liv Morgan had just returned from a torn shoulder.

At that time, Raquel had to relinquish the Women’s Tag Team Championship on behalf of the team. Morgan returned on the June 24 episode of SmackDown to rejoin Raquel and challenge Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to a match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

The duo beat Shayna and Ronda at Money in the Bank to reclaim the Women’s tag titles. However, they dropped the gold to Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green, bringing their title reign to an abrupt end.

It will be interesting to see how soon the former SmackDown Women’s Champion recuperates from this injury and returns to the ring.

How soon do you think Liv Morgan will be back in WWE? Let us know in the comments section below.

WWE superstar Liv Morgan has teased fans with what seemed to be a first peek at her new style after apparently ditching her long hair.

The former women’s champion, who is currently out with an injury suffered not long after she made her return from another setback suffered earlier in the summer, shared a couple of selfies on social media with fans going wild over what they thought was her fresh look.

She shared both snaps with just a sparkling star as the caption, as she sported a pair of round framed glasses and an open white shirt worn over a white bikini top.

Liv completed the look with a simple black choker, and her signature long locks appeared to have been cut up past her shoulders into a much shorter style after she recently shared a snap of her hair on the floor of a salon.

Fans were loving the apparent change, and plenty of followers flooded the post with compliments about the 29-year-old wrestler’s fresh look.

‘New look, still stunning 😍,’ tweeted one person, while another added: ‘Platinum blonde looks good on you! We love the new hair! Love that for you Liv! 😊🤙🏻’

‘Love the new hairstyle LIV 🤍✨,’ wrote a third, but it turns out things aren’t quite what they seem.

Liv has since shared another selfie on her Instagram Story lounging back on her bed in a crop top with her hair flowing and clearly still at least at shoulder length, suggesting she actually just had it tied back after all.

So, it seems fans might have to wait a bit longer to really find out what style she’s going for when she returns from her latest injury layoff, which came not long after she and Raquel Rodriguez had won the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez beat Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler at Money in the Bank on Saturday to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships for the second time as a duo.

Baszler surprisingly attacked her friend and partner, Rousey, before walking out of the match, allowing Morgan to pin The Baddest Woman on the Planet for the win.

Morgan and Rodriguez became women’s tag champs shortly after WrestleMania 39 by beating Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus, but their reign was cut short when Liv suffered an injury, forcing them to vacate the titles.

Around that same time, Rousey and Baszler returned to WWE programming after not being seen for about a month after their win at The Show of Shows.

Several WWE Superstars have reacted to JoJo Offerman’s heartbreaking message to her late fiancé, Bray Wyatt, on Instagram Wyatt and JoJo reportedly started dating nearly six years ago. The couple welcomed their first child in 2019. A year later, they had their second. Last year, The Eater of Worlds and the former ring announcer announced their engagement. However, Wyatt tragically passed away last month, aged only 36.

Today, JoJo finally broke her silence to address Wyatt’s passing. The 29-year-old posted a heartbreaking message to her late fiancé, saying she will love him forever.

Many WWE Superstars have reacted to JoJo’s post. While Bayley told JoJo, “We love you so much,” and Natalya did the same, Raquel Rodriguez commented with a single word, “Beautiful ❤️.” Liv Morgan, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, and Emma commented on the post with heart emojis. Meanwhile, Cathy Kelley sent a message of support to the former ring announcer.

“Love you and the babies so much!! here for you always Jo,” Kelley wrote.

Samantha Irvin also sent a heartfelt message to JoJo, telling her she would never stop praying for her.

“My sister. On my mind incessantly. You two are two of the most beautiful, kind, talented people to ever Grace the Earth. I love you and I’m with you ALWAYS. I’ll never stop praying for your continued passion, peace, purpose. With the strongest, most brilliant angel guiding you. I love you,” she wrote.WWE making two major decisions regarding JoJo and Bray Wyatt’s kids after his passing is a must, urges former superstar.

Former WWE Superstars also reacted to JoJo’s post

Among those who reacted to JoJo’s heartbreaking post were several former Superstars. Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose commented with heart emojis. Former Divas Champion Alicia Fox and former Women’s Tag Team Champion Jessica McKay (fka Billie Kay) did the same.

LIV Morgan might be on her way back to the ring after being sidelined since June.

The star is scheduled to meet with doctors in Birmingham, Alabama, next week for a follow-up test, per Bleacher Report.

Morgan hasn’t been in the ring since being attacked by Rhea Ripley prior to their scheduled bout on the July 24 broadcast of Raw.

The Australian used a steel chair to assault her opponent’s left arm, thereby writing her off the show.

There is no particular date for when she might return.

Former wrestler shares locker room story about The Rock

Dwayne The Rock Johnson’s lunchbox was allegedly smeared with human feces by his rivals in an attempt to break the rising star’s confidence.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, ‘The World’s Strongest Man’ Henry said: “Me and The Rock, we always had our locker right next to each other.

“I came in and saw people laughing and giggling and running away from where our lockers were.

“I saw his box was open. I grabbed the box and was going to close it and I looked in it and there was s**t in it.

“Somebody s**t in his food box, so of course, I have to dispose of this and tell him, ‘Hey man, don’t leave your food in here’.

“They were envious of us new guys coming in.”

Turnbuckle, explained

In boxing and professional wrestling rings, turnbuckles are frequently used to tighten the ring ropes since they connect the ring ropes to the ring posts.

The usage of turnbuckles in boxing and professional wrestling rings is among its most well-known applications.

The four corner pillars receive the ropes used to define the “ring” and are fastened there.

Because they experience a lot of strain and stress during competition, turnbuckles used in sporting applications need to be particularly sturdy, especially in professional wrestling rings where athletes routinely climb atop the turnbuckle assembly.

The WWE still has quite a few upcoming live events for fans to buzz about in 2023, and the fact that there’s no shortage of main-roster talent has made the major injuries of top stars less noticeable all around. At the same time, it’s hard not to feel the absence when a top champion is taken down at their peak, which is precisely what happened to Liv Morgan. As rumors hint at how long fans can expect her to be out of the ring, the superstar showcased a bold new look on social media.

Ahead of the big reveal, Liv Morgan hinted that she drastically changed her hair recently, posting only a chunk of her hair that was chopped off and laying on the floor. The former women’s champion finally showed off her new look on her Instagram Stories, which features a much shorter hairstyle than what she rocked the time she last held the tag-team titles:

Overall, Liv Morgan looks a lot different in this photo. No doubt that the considerable length of hair she’s missing is a factor, as is the fact that she’s wearing glasses and a monochromatic color scheme. But it’s a fresh and stylish cut that fans no doubt want to see her flipping around in the squared circle.

Liv Morgan, who recently went viral for meeting up with her “twin” Margot Robbie, gave her followers another peek at her hair, with the second photo confirming the new haircut is above shoulder-length. It’s a big departure from her previous long-haired style

Liv Morgan will join Rhea Ripley as another short-haired women’s superstar in the WWE, assuming it hasn’t mostly grown back before she returns. Right now, Morgan is on the sidelines after being written off television with a shoulder injury. In the context of WWE storylines, Ripley “injured” Morgan’s arm by using a chair in the ring, and the latter hasn’t been seen since.

In reality, Morgan injured herself before the attack from Ripley, and according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a possibility that she’ll require surgery to repair whatever is injured. If surgery is necessary, it’s likely going to mean a lengthy absence for Morgan that could maybe even keep her away from the WWE for the rest of the year. It all depends on what type of surgery is needed, as well as the recovery time. Which all falls back on this being trustworthy information to begin with.

WWE fans will remember that there was a belief only months ago that Liv Morgan suffered a significant injury, but then returned soon after it appeared things weren’t as severe as originally thought. We still don’t know at this time if Morgan’s injury is something entirely new, or it’s possible she reaggravated whatever sidelined her in the first place.

In any case, it would appear she’s out of the women’s title picture for the time being, though primed for a big return in the future. Liv Morgan could make a surprise return ahead of WrestleMania 40 and challenge Rhea Ripley. Assuming she still has the title, that would be a match I could see booked for the two-night event. Of course, it would require a healthy Morgan to return ahead of Mania, and we still don’t know when she’ll return.

For now, anyone can catch Liv Morgan’s greatest hits in the WWE with a Peacock Premium subscription. Here’s hoping for a speedy and full recovery on her end, and that we’ll get to see a new era of “short-hair Liv” in the WWE.

Top Stars Don’t Want CM Punk in WWE

In the wake of his firing from All Elite Wrestling, CM Punk’s future in the sport has been a hot topic of discussion.

While there has been talk of him possibly going back to WWE, it doesn’t sound like too many people in the company are high on the idea.

Per Mike Johnson of PW Insider (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News), some of the top stars in WWE were “adamantly against the idea” of Punk coming in and “didn’t believe it could happen” anyway.

Johnson did note there were some who viewed the opportunity to bring in Punk as a “chance to make big money,” including one top-tier superstar who was all for the idea but knows it’s not their call.

On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame podcast (starts at :50 mark), Booker T gave a resounding “no” when asked if he thought Punk would return to WWE:

“No, I don’t think so at all. I don’t see that happening. Go back and look at some of CM Punk’s quotes about WWE over the last seven-eight years. Nothing, man, nothing nothing positive. And my think was I always said, you never know when you might want to cross that bridge again. You just never know. And to think that that might be the company you’re gonna stay at forever, that’s kinda like wishful thinking.”

Punk hasn’t wrestled for WWE since walking out of the company after the 2014 Royal Rumble. When he debuted for AEW in August 2021, his first promo saw him address at least some of the reasons why he left wrestling seven years earlier.

“I understand, if you all try to understand that I was never gonna get healthy physically, mentally, spiritually, or emotionally, staying in the same place that got me sick in the first place,” he said.

The former WWE champion has had some contact with the company in recent years. He appeared on FS1’s WWE Backstage show in 2019 and was backstage before an episode of Raw in Chicago on April 24.

AEW president Tony Khan announced Punk’s contract had been terminated with cause following an investigation into an incident with Jack Perry that occurred backstage at All In on Aug. 27.

This was the second high-profile incident Punk was involved in over the past 12 months. He was in a physical altercation with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks in the locker room at All Out 2022 after talking about issues he had with some of AEW’s executive vice presidents, a group that includes Omega and the Bucks.

Punk was off television for nine months following the backstage brawl. He was also recovering from a torn triceps that was suffered in his match with Jon Moxley in the main event of the pay-per-view.

Upon returning this summer, Punk had been positioned as the top star on Collision when the show debuted on June 17. His final match in AEW was a victory over Samoa Joe at All In to retain the “real world championship.”

Latest on Liv Morgan’s Injury

Liv Morgan could be getting closer to making her in-ring return after being sidelined since June due to a shoulder injury.

Per Johnson (h/t Upton), she is expected to meet with doctors next week for a follow-up exam in Birmingham, Alabama.

While this doesn’t provide a specific timeline for her comeback, it’s a sign that things are at least progressing for the 29-year-old.

Morgan hasn’t been seen since being attacked by Rhea Ripley before a scheduled match between the two on the July 24 episode of Raw.

The Australian used a steel chair to attack her opponent’s left arm in a way to write her off television.

Morgan previously said on the UpUpDownDown YouTube show (h/t Nick Tylwalk of Wrestling Junkie) on June 3 she had a “torn shoulder.” She didn’t wrestle for six weeks from May 12 through June 24.

As a result of the injury, she and Raquel Rodriguez vacated the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. They defeated Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to regain the titles at Money in the Bank when The Queen of Spades turned on her partner.

On the July 17 episode of Raw, Morgan and Rodriguez lost the titles to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville. Morgan’s left arm was noticeably in a brace and wrapped during the match.

When Morgan does make her return, it will be a huge boost to the women’s division on Raw. She can be a top star on her own as a potential challenger to Ripley or as part of a duo to help add depth to a what is currently a very weak women’s tag team division.

Lana and Liv Morgan participated in a storyline on WWE RAW at the end of 2019 and start of 2020. It also featured two male Superstars, namely Bobby Lashley and Rusev, who is now performing as Miro in AEW.

It all started on the first episode of RAW after the Draft where Lana made a surprising appearance during a match involving Rusev. Bobby Lashley also appeared, and he made his affair with Lana public. Lana was Rusev’s wife then. Hence, it led to a highly personal feud between Lashley and Rusev.

After two months of torturing Rusev, Lashley and Lana decided to get married on the final RAW episode of 2019. Much to everyone’s surprise, Liv Morgan made her much-awaited return to WWE on that episode of RAW. She stunned the WWE Universe by announcing that she had been dating Lana in the past.

Lana and Liv Morgan were revealed to be ex-lovers in the storyline, which led to fans speculating whether the two female stars were actually in a relationship in real life. However, the same is not true. Morgan is good friends with Lana in real life. Although Lana is no longer in WWE, she is often spotted hanging out with Morgan at parties and events.

Will Liv Morgan and Lana work together in WWE again?

In a recent interaction with Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes, Liv Morgan was asked about the memorable storyline from 2019/20. Revealing if the storyline will resume again on WWE TV, Liv said:

“I don’t think you ever can ever say never in WWE. I think anything and everything is open to being visited again. Is that happening? I have no idea. But would I like it? For sure. But it was a very crazy experience.”

Morgan and Lana also got involved in Lashley and Rusev’s feud. Liv would team up with Rusev in mixed tag team matches against the new couple.

WWE star Liv Morgan on dealing with bullying during her career

Liv Morgan recently revealed how she deals with cyberbullying as a WWE Superstar.

WWE Superstars create a bond with their fans, but sometimes people take things too far and send harmful messages on social media. While it comes with the territory of being a public figure, WWE Superstars are still human beings at the end of the day, and it can negatively impact them.

Speaking with Emily Mae of Sportskeeda Wrestling in an exclusive interview, Liv Morgan shared that she daily deals with cyberbullying. She added that the best way to deal with it is to ignore the trolls online as much as possible.

“My experience with bullying has been a lot of cyberbullying in my career, like ‘you’re never gonna be a champion, you’re not big enough, strong enough.’ I just try to zone out, tune out, just not pay attention to it. Does it bother me sometimes? Yes. But how others see me is not my truth. So I just try to stick to just doing what I know and have fun while doing it,” she said. (0:52 – 1:16)

Morgan is currently out of action after being attacked by Rhea Ripley. It will be interesting to see when she returns to WWE RAW and if she tries to go after the Women’s World Championship.

WWE Payback is now just a sleep away, and the pro wrestling fans aren’t able to keep their calm for the upcoming event. While the match card for the PLE looks quite exciting, a long-awaited return on Saturday can make the show even more successful.

While a number of highly anticipated returns can take place at Payback, the event is probably the perfect opportunity for a former WWE Champion to make her much-awaited return. The name in this anticipation is none other than the crowd-favorite Liv Morgan.

Recently, a pro wrestling lover suggested an interesting storyline for the former Women’s Champion’s return, and it looks really fascinating. As shared on X by the WWE fan, “I expect liv Morgan to return and try to help Raquel win the title.”

It must be noted that Raquel Rodriguez is set to challenge Rhea Ripley for the Women’s Championship on September 2 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. But, The Eradicator will probably have her partner, Dominik Mysterio, at ringside, and it will work as an advantage in Rhea’s favour.

As Raquel and Liv were former tag team champions, so there’s a high possibility that Morgan can make her return to even the odds for her friend. If Rodriguez can dethrone Rhea Ripley with some help from Liv, it’ll be a really memorable moment for the former partners.

Liv Morgan injury status and WWE return timeline

While Morgan’s return at Payback can be a spectacular moment, it’s important to remember that she has been away from WWE television due to Rhea Ripley only. As Liv was scheduled to fight The Mami on the July 24 episode of RAW, the Women’s Champion viciously attacked her before the start of their encounter.

Following this attack, it was reported that the fan-favorite star was suffering from a legitimate shoulder injury, probably need more time to recover.

On the other hand, not disclosing details about Morgan‘s injury can even be a strategy by the Triple H-led promotion to keep Liv’s return a surprise for WWE fans. It’ll be interesting to see if pro wrestling lovers will finally get to see the former champion make her highly anticipated return at Payback or not!
