It is indisputable that Seth Rollins, a well-known character in the world of professional wrestling, has attained a degree of fame outside of the sport. On the verge of his breakthrough in film, Rollins encountered an unforeseen obstacle despite his triumphant entry into the mainstream.

The MCU and the pro wrestling community are getting increasingly excited about the film, which opens in February 2025.But rumors  circulated that Rollins’ appearance in “Captain America: Brave New World” had been unexpectedly canceled. His path into the $54 billion film industry has taken a dismal turn with this turn of events.

Being a member of a renowned group, Seth Rollins must have been ecstatic to join the cast of “Captain America: Brave New World.” In fact, he had recently discussed the role. His persona is closely linked to the Serpent Society and has its origins in Marvel Comics.

Rollins was candid about his enthusiasm for the project and his set experiences. Sadly, new information obtained by Marvel insider CanWeGetSomeToast indicates that the Serpent Society plot has been dropped. This implies that the World Heavyweight Champion will no longer be included in the reimagined film.

The scenes from the Serpent Society were said to have been crucial. There were rumors that the first significant action scene with Captain America, Falcon, and Isaiah Bradley would have marked the conclusion of the plot. This unanticipated development turned out to be a sad development for fans who were hoping to see Rollins in the movie.

It could be necessary for wrestling enthusiasts to accept Rollins’ removal from “Captain America: Brave New World” and modify their expectations in light of it. Nevertheless, the WWE star has had a terrible week, and this depressing update just makes things worse.

Recently, Seth Rollins encountered a difficult setback as a suspected knee injury would prevent him from competing in WrestleMania. A partial meniscus tear and an MCL tear occurred during his most recent championship defense against Jinder Mahal on WWE Raw. It raises questions regarding the championship sequence and his involvement in future WWE events.

This bad development occurs on April 6, the day Rollins is scheduled to defend the title at WrestleMania XL. Since his return to the organization in November, he has successfully defended the title while handling an interesting feud with CM Punk.

The heat has been building between the returning CM Punk and Seth Rollins. Both men have taken shots at each other during their promos and openly declared that they do not like each other. While Punk took the SmackDown ring to throw shade at Rollins and his wife during the last episode of SmackDown, Rollins had something else in mind.

Despite not being confirmed, this feud began when Punk returned to the WWE at Survivor Series. Videos went viral showing Rollins not being happy about this monumental return.

Since Punk’s return to the WWE, Rollins has been vocal about him not liking this decision. From telling the fans that he doesn’t care, to telling the General Manager to stay out of his way, Rollins clearly does not like Punk’s return. In retaliation, the former AEW star made it clear that he acknowledges Rollins’ words during his promos. During his first appearance on SmackDown, he indirectly talked about Rollins’ wife Becky Lynch being ‘The Man’ in their marriage.

During the closing of a dark match, Rollins took to the mic to say a few words. However, the ‘CM Punk’ chants were quick to start. Rollins said, “I got bad news for you guys. I don’t feel like talking about that bum tonight.” He took the time to thank all the people who attended the event and even wished them happy holidays.

However, before leaving, he said, “One more time State College, who the real best in the world is.” This was the signal for the fans to sing his theme. Obliging to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the fans began signing the Rollins’ theme. Nevertheless, what lies in store for the WWE Universe in this prospective feud?

With the heat building between the two stars, fans expect the blowout to happen soon. Despite dropping hints at wanting to go after Roman Reigns, fans believe it will be Rollins vs Punk. While nothing has been confirmed the WWE could finalize plans before Mania season and things could be set in motion before the Royal Rumble 2024.

However, the Chicago based native also emphasized his need to win the upcoming Royal Rumble match to fulfill his dream of main eventing WrestleMania next year. A potential feud between Rollins and Punk could culminate at The Show of Shows next year in a fitting chapter in Punk’s second stint at the promotion.

Seth Rollins has an extended list of rivals in the wrestling world. And one of his former opponents might be coming back for more. New reports suggest that a huge push is currently being developed for one of The Visionary’s older enemies. The wrestler in question is none other than Kevin Owens.

Although Owens has reigned as a champion in the Stamford-based company quite a few times, he hasn’t had the honor to adorn the World Heavyweight Championship yet. However, it looks like WWE could be working toward changing the power structure at Monday Night Raw soon.

This would be a major change in the storyline between the two wrestlers. The reason is the fact that the two wrestlers have been enjoying a ceasefire between them for a long while now. However, if fans remember correctly, they realize that the two wrestlers have shared quite a rivalry together.
