With just over a week to go until the bout, Paul recently dropped a major revelation on social media. The 27-year-old YouTube star shared a clip of himself from three years and six months ago, specifically on April 14, 2021. At that time, he was just three days away from his matchup against UFC welterweight Ben Askren, which he ultimately won by first-round knockout. In the clip Paul uploaded on X today, he revealed that the idea to fight Mike Tyson had already crossed his mind.

Earlier today, Paul shared the clip in question with the caption, “Believe & you can achieve.” Meanwhile, in the clip, he can be seen chatting with a couple of friends when he suddenly declares, “I just came up with a crazy idea…” With the Askren fight looming, Paul was already contemplating a matchup with Mike Tyson.
“Do you think I can beat Mike Tyson,” Jake Paul asked his friends, only to be met with a resounding no from his peers. Undeterred, he pressed, “Not even a year from now?” One of Paul’s friends responded, “Mike Tyson just got s**t he knows how to do bro that’s just..” while the other added, “He’s just a dog…”
Despite their skepticism, Paul had a vision. “Bro, I was just thinking Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson… That would be hilarious…” Fast forward just a few years and this vision has become a reality, seemingly manifested into existence. I’m dying to Witness this fight…November 15,” the user wrote. Notably, the fight will be broadcast live on Netflix for their subscribers.
Meanwhile, this user was inspired by Paul’s clip. “Inspirational,” the user wrote. Still, it’s yet to be seen whether Paul can get the job done.
