Recently, Serena Williams shared the exciting news about having her docuseries being showcased there under the TV category. In a Tiktok video, she stated, “I’m in New York, and I’m here for the Tribeca Film Festival, which is really cool because I have this film called Serena the Arena, and it talks about some of my Grand Slam wins.”

Serena Williams to take on a new role for the 2024 ESPYs
Williams will take up the position of host for the July 11 ESPYs, ESPN’s yearly awards program. This important presenting role is scheduled to debut the day following the first installment of her eight-part documentary series, “In the Arena: Serena Williams.”
She stated, “I couldn’t be more excited to host The ESPYS. This is a dream come true for me, and something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember. It has been a sensational year for sports and an unprecedented one for female athletes. I can’t wait to celebrate everyone on-stage in July.”
In the thirty-year history of the ESPYs, this year’s presentation will be hosted by an athlete for the eighth time. Serena Williams will take up this esteemed position in 2022, succeeding Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry as the show’s host.
