Another win for Charlie Woods. Tiger’s 14-year-old son made him the Major Championship, a junior competition valid for the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. The competition was played at the Village Golf Course in California. Small detail: Charlie was defending champion.

Woods jr imposed himself in the 14-15 age category with 143 strokes (72-71), detaching the runner-up by eight strokes. The first round Charlie allowed himself four birdies; in the second a streak of five birdies in seven holes.
So Tiger’s son was the only one to close under par on the field (-1) The win marked Woods’ second joy in four events so far in the 2023 season on the Hurricane Tour. In February, Woods captured the South Florida Junior Open.
Last season, he had two more Hurricane Tour victories, including the Major Championship itself at Village. In the circuit today he is 16th in his age category. The race took place under the watchful eye of Tiger, on the fairway with his golf cart.
