Daniel Dubois was elevated to the status of IBF heavyweight champion after the former undisputed champion of the division Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt. Usyk couldn’t defend the title against Dubois on time as he was contractually obligated to fight Tyson Fury again in a rematch on December 21, 2024. Interestingly, the British boxer became the No. 1 contender for the IBF after defeating Filip Hrgovich in June this year. Subsequently, the belt fell into his lap, and he became the IBF heavyweight champion.

However, Dubois’ very first title defense would be a tough task. The challenger—the former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, is hungry to become a three-time world heavyweight champion. The tense pre-fight build-up adds another layer of intrigue to an all-British heavyweight showdown at the Wembley Stadium on September 21. It all kicked off in the face-to-face chat in June where AJ brutally shut down Dubois, who was eager to throw down then and there. “I’ll throw this f***ing chair across your face. Don’t disrespect me,” Joshia said angrily. Both fighters almost came to blows. As a result, the security had to step in to separate the two blood-thirsty pugilists.

Now, with the date of the clash inching closer, the ‘Dynamite’ has sounded off on AJ for his “disrespect” remark during the face-off. “Disrespect is not the right word, is it? We’re in boxing,” the 26-year-old fighter stated in an interview with Queensbury Promotions. He further conveyed to Joshua that respect should be left at the door when getting into a fight with someone.

“Is there respect in that ring? At the end of the day, this is a fight. If you want respect go and become a lawyer or a doctor,” Dubois stated solemnly. “This is a fight game and you know I’m ready, 100% ready, to just go out there and fight now.” Seems the two British boxing stars are going into the fight with the clear intention to hurt one another.

On the other hand, Anthony Joshua too will be heading into the Dubois fight with bad intentions as he has plans to reach the very top of the heavyweight division, once again.

The road to undisputed is clear!

The battle with Dubois is crucial in determining whether Joshua could become an undisputed champion. A win against the Greenwich native would set Joshua up nicely to face the winner of the Usyk-Fury clash in December.

All he’s got on his mind is Dubois. Obviously, winning the world heavyweight title, but I know that if he wins September 21, the only fight he will want is the winner of Usyk-Fury,” AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn stated.

“He’s always wanted to fight Fury, he’ll definitely do it, but when the decision is read out on December 21 he will want the winner of that fight because he’s only one fight away from being undisputed himself,” The Matchroom Boxing head added.

It is quite evident that AJ won’t hesitate to face Oleksandr Usyk for the third time provided ‘The Cat’ wins the rematch against Fury. Notably, Joshua lost his unified heavyweight title to Usyk in 2021. The rematch the following year also yielded the same result.

The Boulevard de Bercy in the 12th arrondissement of Paris was buzzing with excitement as A-list celebrities flocked to catch a glimpse of the American gymnastics queen, Simone Biles. Everyone from Lady Gaga, Tom Cruise, and Nick Jonas to Bill Gates, Anna Wintour, and Snoop Dogg made their way to see the world’s most decorated gymnast in action. Biles is no stranger to being the star of the show, but even this seven-time Olympic gold medalist has her own moments of fangirling! That’s exactly what happened when her bestie, Jordan Chiles, introduced her to track and field legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce!

During their stay at the Olympic Village, Chiles and Biles spent a lot of time together. During one of their putting, the 23-year-old spotted Fraser-Pryce. “I was like, hey, Simone, there’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce,” Chiles told the three-time Olympian. However, she didn’t expect the eleven-time Olympic medalist to act the way she did. Biles seemed starstruck in Mommy Rocket’s presence.

“I’ve never seen Simone (Biles) get, so like, Whoa!” the gymnast revealed on the Chicks in the Office podcast. “Like, she’s right there,” the 27-year-old told Jordan Chiles as if she couldn’t believe her eyes. The two-time Olympic medalist revealed how unusual it felt to see the gymnastics GOAT act like a bubbly fan. “It’s the opposite” when people meet Biles, said Chiles.

However, the world championship gold medalist was glad she could introduce her BFF to the track and field icon. While Simone Biles may be the gymnastics GOAT, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is also among the all-time greats of sprinting. The eight-time Olympic medalist is the third-fastest woman in history, and Simone Biles couldn’t help but be in awe.

Jordan Chiles, who was also part of the conversation, said it was “really cool” to interact with the humble 37-year-old as cool. The fact that Paris 20204 was the Jamaican legend’s last Olympics only made the meeting even more special. Although Fraser-Pryce didn’t get her fairy tale ending thanks to an injury, her presence inspired the likes of Chiles, Biles, and many others.

In fact, Simeone Biles wasn’t the only athlete who gushed over the three-time Olympic gold medalist. Team New Zealand’s Michaela Blyde had a similar reaction to Biles when she met the track icon in the Olympic Village. However, the gymnastics icon from Texas was back to dazzling fans at home after her triumphant Olympic campaign.

The Simone Biles effect that Jordan Chiles is familiar with

During her appearance on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, Jordan Chiles shared how she’s no stranger to seeing fans become starstruck in front of Simone Biles. And who could blame them? Even the U.S. men’s basketball team couldn’t resist being in awe when they took a courtside seat in Paris to watch Biles claim yet another Olympic gold. With stars like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker cheering her on, the NBA players were just as mesmerized as anyone, witnessing Simone’s mind-blowing routines up close.

Curry, capturing the action on his phone, summed it up perfectly: “To see that athleticism, the clutchness of Simone and Suni in that moment, knowing what they had to do and going out and doing it, was absolutely incredible. They are ridiculous to watch.” The whole team erupted with every flawless flip, celebrating as if they had just won a game themselves.

Durant echoed the sentiment, saying, “You see them getting medals, you want to do the same thing. Athletes inspire athletes, and greatness inspires greatness, brother.” It was clear the basketball squad was soaking in the energy, ready to channel it into their own pursuit of gold. But Simone’s star power didn’t stop there.

After Paris, she and fellow Olympian Gabby Thomas made a surprise appearance at a WNBA game, leaving the Indiana Fever athletes, including Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, in absolute awe. The team celebrated their victory with photos alongside the two Olympic icons, a moment they won’t soon forget.

While Chiles is used to seeing people go gaga over her bestie, even she could understand why Biles was left awestruck when meeting track legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. With a career that kicked off with Olympic gold in 2008 and has seen Jamaica dominate the track ever since it’s no surprise that Simone Biles holds such deep respect for the trailblazing Fraser-Pryce!

National Dog Day! Yes, it’s finally August 26, the day set aside for the four-legged furry or non-furry ‘man’s best friends’ to be in the spotlight. Interestingly, even golfers have their dogs, among other pets, which can help or support them after a really rough day on the course. And, it’s natural to be curious about the professionals who depend on their pups.

There are a lot of PGA Tour professionals and LIV Golf pros whose love for their dogs is well-known in the community. But only some stand out among the same. And as the athletes and people worldwide celebrate the occasion, let us take a quick look at some of the professionals and their furry friends.

PGA Tour and LIV Golf Pros and their pets

1. Tiger Woods: Everyone knows Bugs and Lola. The 15-time major champion had introduced his two dogs in the 4th episode of the ‘At Home With Tiger Woods’ series. The 48-year-old, back in 2015, had a total of three dogs, including Bugs, Yogi, and Taz. Yogi was an all-white Labradoodle, while Taz, a Border Collie like Bugs. The little Australian Shepherd Lola, meanwhile, was adopted by the family in 2019 when Yogi and Taz passed away. Not only do the Woods’s dogs keep him company, but they also fetch his golf balls whenever the athlete practices his putts and swings.

2. Brooks Koepka: When it comes to the four-legged furry friends in the golfing community, Cove takes a special place. Koepka’s pet dog has been a part of the family even before the birth of their child, Crews Sims Koepka. She had been a constant source of support and comfort for the actress even when she was pregnant, as Jena Sims once shared a story on her Instagram handle. The golfer’s wife had mentioned how Cove loves being with her when she is pregnant while kissing a belly like a dolphin does. “I think Cove is also a dolphin then?” she wrote with much love for her family member.

3. Collin Morikawa: The golfer part of Jay Monahan’s circuit welcomed Koa, his dog, to the family on February 10, 2021. Part of Morikawa’s life since just a few days old, the  Multi-gen Goldendoodle also has an Instagram account by the name of Koa.the.doodle where the dog dad posts pics of the furry friend doing various activities.

4. Justin Thomas: “Dogs are the best,” said Justin Thomas while alluding to his Sheepadoodle named Franklin. The PGA Tour Pro and his furry friend have been spotted many times over the years playing along with each other. The golfer had also shared a video of Franklin running around the trees as the four-legged friend finds himself distracted by the lizards. “He’s been obsessed with these trees,” said the pro, “Whenever he gets near them he just is…infatuated with the lizards going up them.”

5. Dustin Johnson: The LIV Golf Pro has always had two dogs, along with his wife Paulina Gretzky. Back in 2018, the golfer had adopted a cute black puppy named Harry as they welcomed him to the family, which already had one Labradoodle named Daisy. Fast forward to the present, and the couple currently have two dogs in their home; Daisy and a Goldendoodle named Charlie.

These are but some of the athletes in the men’s golfing world who have a close bond with their upper friends. Even many of the LPGA Tour pros, including Nelly Korda, Michelle Wie West, and Lexi Thompson, among others, have shared their fondest memories with their dogs on their social media handles. Truly a special bond, they share!

Frances Tiafoe has always mentioned that the Williams sisters have played an enormous role in his career. Recently, Tiafoe became the first man after Andy Roddick (2006-2008) to reach three consecutive QF in the US Open. Shortly after completing this historic triumph with a win against Alexei Popyrin, the American tennis star revealed how Serena Williams inspired him to bring the best out of himself on the court.

He said, that the ‘Queen of the Court’ told him that she wanted nothing but the best for him. “Telling me I’m the guy of color playing and doing well now that she’s done… Coming from her, that’s a loud sentence,” revealed Tiafoe. He also expressed his excitement at seeing Serena Williams making a comeback at the US Open as a fan.

After Simone Biles called for “justice” for Jordan Chiles over the Olympic bronze medal mix-up, it seems Biles isn’t hitting the brakes anytime soon. While Jordan’s bronze is on the brink of being returned, Simone keeps racking up the medals. She just grabbed four more at the Paris Olympics, and guess what? She’s added another one to her collection. It looks like all that hard work and a bit of luck are finally paying off. Most recently, MedalCount.com even gave her a shout-out, putting her name right at the top of their list.

According to the latest updates, the list of gymnasts and their appearances in beam finals at the World Championships and Olympics is out. To be credited, gymnasts must compete in the Event Finals—those who qualified but didn’t compete aren’t counted. And guess what? Simone Biles tops the list with 9 appearances, followed by Romania’s Catalina Ponor with 7, and Canada’s Ellie Black with 6.
Meanwhile, Biles also stands out on a special list of gymnasts who competed in vault finals at both the last Olympics and the previous World Championships, alongside Ellie Black, Rebeca Andrade, and Yeo Seo Jeong. This achievement has not only solidified her status among the all-time greats but also helped her break a 56-year-old record.
Vera Caslavska claimed back-to-back vault titles in Tokyo in 1964 and Mexico City in 1968, with a total of seven Olympic gold medals. Biles, however, has now amassed 11 Olympic medals, surpassing Caslavska’s record and marking a significant milestone in the 56-year span from 1968 to 2024. Yet, amid all this success, Biles shows that true greatness also lies in being a steadfast friend in times of need.

Jordan Chiles fights tooth and nail for bronze, with Simone Biles backing her all the way

Jordan Chiles initially placed fifth in the floor routine final at the Paris Olympics, behind Romania’s Ana Barbosu and Sabrina Maneca-Voinea, who were tied for third with scores of 13.700. Initially, Barbosu secured the bronze medal through a tiebreaker. However, after Chiles’ coach, Cecile Landi, appealed the scoring of Chiles’ routine, it was determined that she hadn’t received full credit for a skill.

This adjustment raised her score from 13.666 to 13.766, pushing her past the Romanian gymnasts into the bronze-medal position. The Romanian Gymnastics Federation then challenged the appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), which ruled in their favor, resulting in an order for Chiles to return the medal so it could be awarded to Barbosu.

The situation has since grown more complex. Reports indicate that Voinea may not have gone out of bounds during her routine, meaning her score could have been 13.8 without the deduction, surpassing both Barbosu’s final score and Chiles’ adjusted scores. Despite this, CAS refused to reverse the decision, stating it would overstep its bounds as it involved referee judgment.

In response, USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee plan to challenge the CAS ruling, citing procedural errors and video evidence. Chiles has publicly expressed her disappointment, calling the decision “unjust” and a significant blow to her and those who supported her journey.

However, Simone Biles is standing by Jordan Chiles as she fights to keep her bronze medal from the Paris Olympics. Biles has been frequently in touch with Chiles during this challenging time, offering support through FaceTime and texts. Biles, who is a strong advocate for therapy, encouraged Chiles to embrace her emotions, telling her, “You have to feel all these feels. Don’t let these emotions stop you.”

Biles praised Chiles’ talent, highlighting the unfortunate nature of the situation, but remains committed to seeking justice for her friend. As they prepare for the Gold Across America Tour, where both gymnasts will show their skills, Biles continues to uplift Chiles.

Adria Biles recently stated that there is more to Simone Biles’ success than her sheer talent. Touted as the undisputed queen of women’s gymnastics, Simone Biles has been the athlete to watch in every major competition, including the Olympics. With a total of 7 Olympic gold medals, Simone Biles is undoubtedly a gifted talent. After the entire world wrote off gymnast Simone Biles, the 27-year-old rose from the ashes like a phoenix to reclaim her throne as the greatest.

However, behind the making of this great gymnast, many things have been going on. In an exclusive interview with Chris Osmond, Simone Biles’ younger sister Adria Biles was asked about the deciding factor behind her elder sister’s greatness. In response, she explained, “I think she is an alien yeah I’m like you’re a crazy like you’re a crazy human. I think that um and like given our circumstance growing up I kind of think about that sometimes because I’m like she had the talent but had she not been given the resources I don’t think she would be where she is so like obviously forever grateful for that.”

Adria Biles further stated that Simone Biles and gymnastics were a perfect combination. Being inclined towards gymnastics right from her childhood made Simone develop a strong connection with the sport. And when she was encouraged to pursue along those lines, it was a perfect situation for the US gymnastics queen to thrive. Right from her childhood, Simone Biles received support from her parents, Ronald and Nellie Biles. In fact, looking at her zeal towards gymnastics, Nellie Biles risked her entire business to support little Simone. Simone’s mother, in order to keep Aimee Boorman as her coach, sold all of her 13 hospitals to build her an exclusive gym where Simone would train under Boorman’s watchful eyes. Thus, it is no wonder that Simone Biles, too, is always grateful to her parents.

Simone Biles thanks her parents for her success

Despite reaching the pinnacle of greatness, Simone Biles still prioritizes her family more than anything else. Having spent a significant portion of her childhood in foster care, the adoption of Nellie and Ronald Biles acted as a boon for Simone. Acknowledging her parents’ contributions to her success, Simone mentioned that getting adopted set her life on a much better route than what it would have followed had it not happened.

Extending her gratitude towards her parents, the gymnastics legend mentioned that none of her achievements would have been possible without her parents. Reflecting on the same, Simone Biles, in her Facebook Watch documentary, ‘Simone vs Herself’, said, “I feel like I wouldn’t be where I am unless that turning point happened. I would still be Simone Biles, probably not Simone Biles that everybody else knows, the world knows. But I also believe everything happens for a reason, and I’m forever grateful for that because I definitely got a second shot at life..” Thus, having gotten lucky to get two of the most supportive parents, Simone Biles did not waste an iota of opportunity and grabbed her second chance at life with both hands to emerge as one of the most decorated athletes of all time.

Floyd Mayweather knows how to pull a punch and how to pull controversy, both inside the ring and outside of it. This again turned true as he went up against John Gotti III in an exhibition fight and then found himself in a lawsuit within a few days. The 47-year-old has been attracting eyeballs for this, and evoking concerns among the fans and friends, and it seems even Oscar De La Hoya has something to say to him.

Mayweather was throwing punches and came in aggressively in the rematch with Gotti III, 31. While the fans felt the nostalgia, the fight remained largely underwhelming and one-sided. But what amused the fans was how close ‘The Best Ever’ was to plunging the fight into chaos, as he argued with the referee in the second round of the fight. He landed a blow behind his opponent’s head, and after the referee warned him, Mayweather had him swapped.

De La Hoya, 51, turned to his Instagram handle and discussed how Mayweather had the referee swapped for interrupting him. He said, “A real sh*t show that left the crowd booing in the arena at the end… He [Floyd Mayweather] didn’t like the referee told him to stop hitting behind the head. Floyd is used to having the refs do what he wants, and he wasn’t getting his way this time. It was so embarrassing.”

The boxer-turned-promoter then lent his support to his former foe, enlisting his glories and also disclosing how he defended his actions on numerous occasions, including interviews. But even Oscar De La Hoya realized it was high time for Mayweather, at 50-0, to mend his way. He continued, “Floyd, you are 50 years old. You are a legend in the sport… But you have to stop embarrassing yourself.”

The California native then also touched upon the recent lawsuit against Mayweather, where he failed to pay for the jewelry, and the amount scaled close to $4 million. He added, “I know life is hard, life is expensive, but come on, dude. Put your legacy first. Nobody wants to remember you like this… It’s hard to make money, but even harder to keep it. Floyd, I’m rooting for you. Come on, let’s turn it around.”

After expressing his concerns and issuing advice to ‘Money,’ De La Hoya turned his attention to his former charge, Canelo Alvarez, who had turned down a fight with Terence Crawford and declined to work with HE Turki Alalshikh on his ambitious project.

Oscar De La Hoya reveals why Canelo Alvarez doesn’t like HE Turki Alalshikh

The Golden Boy lynchpin then pointed out how His Excellency Turki Alalshikh was making sure “real boxing” stayed alive and how he was making “best fights happen.” It was the reason why Alvarez didn’t like the Saudi adviser. He added, “Which is why Canelo doesn’t like him. Because he is demanding everybody to like fight the very best… Canelo, f**k you.”

De La Hoya also promised to spill more on Alvarez’s situation in the coming week. Meanwhile, the Mexican champion is gearing up to take on Edgar Berlanga on September 14 at T-Mobile Arena, and it remains to be seen how well the card fares.

It was in November 2021 that an undefeated Caleb Plant lost his IBF super-middleweight title to Mexican icon Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, via a technical knockout in the eleventh round. Though Canelo became undisputed after the win, Plant lost his one and only world title. Since then, he has been on a patchy run, losing one out of his last two fights to David Benavidez. However, the 32-year-old now plans to regain his position in the super-middleweight division again, calling his comeback the “revenge tour”.

Surprisingly, Plant hasn’t ruled out a rematch with Canelo Alvarez. ‘Sweethands’ feels that he is “worthy” enough to deserve another title shot against the Mexican icon. Plant also stated that it was a close matchup until the knockout in the eleventh round during their first encounter.

Who knows how likely it is [I’ll get a Canelo rematch], but I feel that it’s worthy, especially since we had a competitive fight the first time. It was probably 6-4 the first time going into the 11th. I feel like it’s worthy,” Plant said during an interview with BoxingScene.

However, the former super-middleweight champion has enough pride not to “beg” for that fight. With Benavidez and David Morrell moving up to the light-heavyweight division, Plant is placed nicely alongside Jermall CharloDiego Pacheco, and Christian Mbilli to become one of the prospective dance partners for a fight with Canelo in the future.

Notably, Caleb Plant will be going up against Trevor McCumby next on the undercard of the Canelo Alvarez-Edgar Berlanga main event on September 14. “With us getting moved to the Canelo card, it could spark those conversations for a rematch,” Plant stated. He emphasized that a potential rematch with Canelo wouldn’t just be for the paycheck but for his unwavering drive to compete against the best in the division. “It doesn’t matter where they put me. They can put me in the parking lot and we can fight. As you know, I’m not just in it to get a payday. I’m coming to fight,” Plant stated boldly.

Furthermore, the Tennessee native also gave another reason as to why Canelo Alvarez might be interested in fighting him again.

Not too bad at selling a fight!

Canelo has made it very clear that at this stage of his career, massive paychecks and a good show are the only things that motivate him to keep fighting. Case in point — he has turned down risky fights against elite contenders like David Benavidez and Terence Crawford by pricing himself out. Safe to say, the more dangerous the fight, the higher the price Canelo goes for.

On that note, explaining why Alvarez should be fighting him, Plant stated that their first matchup fetched a lot of PPV buys, and guarantees that the success would be repeated if they were to have a rematch. He said that his fight against Alvarez in 2021 had 800,000 buys, which he claimed was better than the numbers ‘Cinnamon’ got fighting certain big names in boxing.

“He didn’t do that against Gennady Golovkin, Dmitry Bivol, or Jermell Charlo. We’ve done some good numbers, and I feel that I’m a good sell in boxing. I have a big fan base and a lot of people tune in to watch me fight,” he stated.

With Canelo Alvarez not eager to fight tough competitors like David Benavidez, and Terence Crawford, it seems he is looking for less tougher, big-money fights at the age of thirty-four. Therefore, the question is: Does Canelo Alvarez think that Caleb Plant is threatening enough to put a loss on his record? If so, he might avoid it, otherwise, Plant fits the category of a sellable fight that fans would like to watch.

Adria Biles can’t get enough of hanging out with her superstar sister, Simone Biles, especially after the GOAT’s epic performance at the Paris Olympics, where Adria was one of her biggest cheerleaders. Working closely at the World Champions Centre (WCC), owned by their parents Ronald and Nellie Biles, Adria is more than just Simone’s little sister—she’s right there in the action, soaking up all the sisterly vibes. And before Paris? Adria was front and center, watching her sister perform magic at the gym, living every moment of that dream life.

On The Chris Osmond Show episode 6, Adria spilled the beans on her busy life at the gym. “I work at the gym, so my mom’s there all the time. Before Paris, my sister was training there every day, so I saw them too every day,” she said. As for her role? “I work at the front desk, deal with lovely people all day, and coach. I’m obsessed with my girls—I love them so much.” Clearly, Adria is the heart and soul of WCC, juggling her roles like a pro while enjoying every bit of family time.

Though she once gave gymnastics a go, Adria decided to step back from the sport at 17. The reason? Competing against Simone! According to the gymnastics queen herself, Adria got tired of always coming in second to her big sister and decided it was time to call it quits. Simone Biles said, “Whenever she went to competitions like ‘Oh, her sister always wins, she always wins, that’s not fair.’ So she quit.” But that doesn’t mean she’s lost her love for gymnastics.

As Simone Biles was gearing up to conquer Paris, Adria decided to have a little fun of her own. She posted a hilarious video attempting a standing full and other daring gymnastics moves in a foam pit at WCC, only to end up face-planting into the foam. Her split attempt? Let’s just say it ended with Adria exclaiming, “ow ow ow!” She wrapped it all up with a backward flick and a surprisingly flawless aerial, showing she’s still got some of that Biles magic.

Adria captioned the post, “You sure yall don’t need help in Paris? ” Clearly, she was proud of her attempts and wasn’t shy about showing off her playful side. Adria’s sense of humor is always on point, whether she’s goofing around at the gym or joking about being ‘jealous’ of Jonathan Owens!

Unlike Simone Biles, Adria wasn’t impressed by Jonathan Owens at first sight!

In a surprising twist, Adria Biles also told Chris Osmon how she wasn’t thrilled when Simone Biles tied the knot with Jonathan Owens. Growing up inseparable, Adria was pretty used to having Simone all to herself, so the idea of sharing her with someone else didn’t sit too well at first.

Adria admitted, “So when she met Jonathan I was not happy like I knew he was a good guy and I knew they were great but I was like you’re taking my time away from her. Like I felt so annoyed and so like to be honest me and him didn’t get along. I was just like being a brat.”

But fast forward to over a year since their marriage, and it’s clear there are no hard feelings. Adria was a bridesmaid at Simone’s wedding, and she’s since made peace with Jonathan Owens, even thanking him for loving Simone. Adria and Jonathan have teamed up to support the women’s gymnastics GOAT, proving that even with a little initial sibling rivalry, the bond between Adria and Simone remains unbreakable.

A seemingly inconsiderate prank seems to have landed WWE star and influencer Logan Paul in hot waters with the fans. What happened? Well, New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is currently on his way to breaking his 62nd home run record, which he set back in 2022. However, Logan Paul and KSI took this opportunity to pull a not-so-nice prank on the MLB star.

When Judge originally set the record two years ago, his 62nd home run ball fetched $1.5 million in an action. While it could not break Mark McGwire’s record-setting 70th home run ball in the 1998 season, which was sold for a record $3 million, Judge was proud of his accomplishment. And he wished he could have had the ball in his possession. This led Paul and KSI to stage a scenario where they pretended to buy the ball and present it to Judge – all to promote their energy drink, Prime!

Logan Paul and KSI pull a prank on Aaron Judge

Earlier today, Logan and KSI’s Prime took to X, sharing a clip of the prank with the caption reading, “It’s a prank bro @TheJudge44.” Meanwhile, in the clip, Logan, KSI, and Judge can be seen standing together in a field, as Paul said, “Aaron Judge, you set the record for the most home runs in a season in Yankee’s history. Your 62nd ball. A fan caught it.”

It sold at auction [for $1.5 million] and we got our hands on it. We’re gonna give it back to you,” Paul continued. Initially, Judge was in disbelief at what Logan was saying, but after some persuasion, Judge quickly got excited about it. However, as the MLB star walked out of the frame with the ball, Paul revealed it wasn’t the real baseball.

He said, “Someone got to tell him that’s not the ball. It’s a prank. Yeah, yeah, do we ever tell him?” Interestingly, Judge hit his 50th home run of the current season against the Rockies at Yankee Stadium, reaching this milestone for the third time in his career. Nevertheless, when fans discovered the prank on X, let’s just say they were furious.

Prime Hype train has ended

Unlike his brother Jake Paul, Logan’s stocks seem to be on a decline because of several controversies involving alleged scams with cryptocurrency. This was evident in the responses fans shared on the post. One user felt their energy drink Prime is irrelevant now. “Guys, Prime died one year ago,” the user commented. It’s also worth mentioning that Prime Hydration LLC is currently grappling with multiple lawsuits, ranging from accusations of breach of contract to class-action suits that accuse Prime of mislabeling the amount of caffeine in its energy drink.

Another user roped in Logan’s controversial past to show what Judge’s reaction would be when he finds out the ball is a fake. “Judge when he realizes it’s not the ball: [image of Logan Paul’s shocked face from Japan’s s**cide forest incident].” Notably, Paul posted a video showing the body of an apparent s**cide victim in Japan, which resulted in YouTube banning the influencer.

Someone else could not come to grips with how insensitive the prank was. The user commented, “Thats so f**ked.” However, there’s also the possibility that Judge was in on it from the bigging, and the clip was shot just to promote the drink.

Likewise, the next user didn’t hold back his punches, as he branded the whole thing a “scam.” The user wrote, “Or maybe it’s just another scam.” The alleged accusation of the scam on Logan stems from his own cryptocurrency game, ‘CrytoZoo’. Interestingly, Logan himself has sued a YouTuber named ‘Coffeezilla’ for defaming him over ‘CrytoZoo’ criticism.

While everyone else was attacking Logan Paul because of the prank, this user asked the influencer to onboard more baseball players with his company. The user wrote, “[G]et Shohei Ohtani and Juan Soto.” Notably, Shohei Ohtani Japanese professional baseball pitcher and a hitter for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Whereas, Juan Soto is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder for the New York Yankees.

It appears Logan Paul can’t catch a break. Whatever he does, people seem to come up with allegations against him. All this is evident from the comments on the latest post from Prime Hydration LLC. But the question is, what are your thoughts on the matter?
